While I can’t remember where I was  when I saw this (… was it the airport?), it definitely caught my eye.  More and more often I see devices that are traditionally coin operated ‘upgraded’ to accept credit cards, and for what ever reason, I had to take a picture of this! 

I remember seeing parking meters down in Key West having credit card options (which I thought was great!  I NEVER have change!), and I’m starting to see a few vending machines that take em too — I’m curious as to what other devices are now accepting credit cards which have traditionally been coin-only…!

Sounds like a GREAT deal considering on black friday (day after Thanksgiving), many stores are going to have the 360 + 2 free games already (Forza 2 and Ultimate Alliance) for $350 — adding Halo 3 to the mix, and that’s one good deal!

That’s right, contrary to belief (friends, family, and Lowes employees), my civic CAN indeed haul three boxes of 12 foot siding!

After driving to 3 different lowes, and 2 home depots, I finally found one about 30 miles away that had it in stock, cept the cost for renting a truck was $25 per hour and a half.  The problem was that it was high traffic hour (yay atlanta!) and I was already sick of driving around, so I didn’t want to have to haul this all down in a rental truck, pay $40+ for the 2+ hours it would take in total, and then have to drive BACK home!  So I figured, hey, I’ve got a hatch back, it could work! 

So, in spite of people saying it wouldn’t work, including the loading guys at lowes saying "this is a first" (referencing someone trying to haul this in a civic), I decided to give it a try.  An hour+ at 30mph later, I arrived at home and only had the siding fall over on me once (pinning my arm requiring me to pull over to get it off so I could shift, haha).  So all of ya’ll who have civic hatchbacks and are wondering if you can haul siding, well rest assured that it CAN be done!
