[...] I use to love Hamachi, it use to simply work and it was very secure. The only problem is it got picked up by log me in and therefore hasn’t been developed in the way I would have liked. The Windows version has been developed but the linux and mac version are lagging behind in the lab. I also would like to see a Android app like how someone created a Windows mobile version.
@Larry G -- I too am having issues getting it to work over WiFi. However, my error ma have to do with the particular ROM I am using w/my at&t fuze. I am getting an error saying it can't connect through my proxy (even though I do not have on explicitly setup, though I think there may be a hidden one cooked within the rom).

Have you had any luck?

@Larry G, it *should* work via wifi, I too just found the link again, https://secure.logmein.com/labs/hamachi-0.0.3.1.cab, and will try it out myself - will let you know how it goes

Thanks James. I actually kept digging and just found a copy buried in an XDA thread. Do you happen to know if it will work with my phone being attached to the Internet via WiFi? It seems to error out and says I must configure a network. I think maybe it does not like the fact that I use WiFi to connect. I do not have a data plan on my phone. I was hoping to access my music files while on the road. I access them just fine while at home using Pocket Player (works great with UPnP.)

@Larry G -- Interesting, it looks like they have taken it off the site. Some google searching found me to this site http://soft.softoogle.com/ap/hamachi-download-1053.shtml -- though I cannot vouch for it, though the version number is higher than when I initially wrote this post
